Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) or Pune University offers a fullt-time M.Com program in 2 variants namely, general and E-commerce. Admission to the M.Com program at Pune University is done via the Online Entrance Exam (OEE) exam conducted by the university. The final selection of candidates is based on the personal interview round conducted by the university. Pune University M.Com admission 2023 is open now. The last date to apply is June 30, 2023, without late fees and July 08, with a late fee. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website – unipune.ac.in. Register yourself and after successful registration, log in to get started.

Pune University M.Com Course Details

M.Com. course details pertaining to the syllabus with credits, elective subjects, and attendance scheme will be discussed below.

Elective subjects are available for semester 3rd and semester 4th (2nd year of the course).
Four groups of electives are offered in the M.Com. course, i.e., Corporate Accounting and Financial Management (CA), Banking and Finance (BF), Digital Marketing & E-Commerce (DM), and Business Processes (BP).

For engineering, the grace mark policies at Savitribai Phule Pune University are as follows. Every student will get 10 marks grace if there is only one subject backlog. For 50-50 pattern, the mark deviation will be 5-5. For 70-30 pattern, the mark deviation will be 7-3. If someone scored 37 marks or above in a subject, it will be cleared. One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way. The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education. The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated. Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands. Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided. Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly. A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class. They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem. It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
