Symbiosis International University (SIU) is located in Pune and was established in the year 2002. The University is owned and managed by The Symbiosis Society.

SIU, Pune offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Programs in multiple disciplines through its institutes spread across various parts of the country. Programs are offered in eight different faculties- Architecture and Design, Law, Management, Computer Science, Health & Biological Sciences, Media & Communications, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Engineering. SIU also extends its programs through Symbiosis Distance Learning (SCDL).

Admission to B.A LL.B & BBA LL.B Programs will be offered to candidates passing 10+2 with 45% marks.
Final Selection to these programs will be based on SLAT Entrance Test. BBA, BCA, BA, and B.Des programs are open for candidates having passed 10+2 (Relevant Stream) with 50% marks.
Selection to BBA, BCA & BA courses will be based on scores in SET Entrance Exam whereas selection to B.Des will be based on SEED Entrance Test Score.
B.Tech. and B.Sc. programs are open for Graduates (Science Stream).
The selection to B.Tech will be based on JEE Main/SITEEE Score. However, the selection to the B.Sc. program will be based on the SET Entrance Test/Entrance Test/Personal Interview.
Admissions to the MBA program are open for Graduates passing SNAP Entrance Test.
Admission to the M.Tech course requires Graduate (Relevant Stream) passing GATE/ SIT Entrance Exam.

SIU Pune M.Tech, M.Sc. & M.Sc. Nursing Admission 2023

SIU offers admission to M.Tech, M.Sc. & M.Sc. Nursing programs to the candidates having passed Graduation (Science Stream) with the minimum required marks from a recognized university.

Final Selection to M.Tech. the program will be based on GATE/ SIT Entrance Score. However, selection to M.Sc. (CS & SS) is done on the basis of performance in SNAP Entrance Test followed by Group Discussion & PIWAT.

SIU offers B.Tech and B.Sc (Nursing) program to the candidates having passed 10+2 (Science Stream) with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Whereas, admission to B.Sc. course will be offered to candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 (Science Stream).

Final Selection to B.Tech program will be based on JEE Main/ SITEEE Entrance Exam. However, selection to B.Sc. (IT, Culinary Arts, Economics & Liberal Arts) will be based on the SET Entrance Test Score.

Admissions to the LLM program are offered to candidates having passed the LLB course with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Whereas, admission to the MA program will be offered to Graduates with 50% marks. M.Des. program is open for B.Des. graduates.

Final Selection to LLM will be based on the Entrance Test followed by PIWAT. Selection to MA (Mass Communication) will be on the basis of the Online Entrance Test.

SIU Pune Registration Process

SET Registration Process

To register for SET/SLAT/SITEEE/SEED, the candidates must get themselves enrolled on the official website of the SET Entrance Exam.

Candidates must complete the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) online registration process.

Candidates who wish to appear for the SET can apply for two subjects i.e. one subject each from morning and evening session.
Login using the registration credentials and proceed with the application form.

Upload the photograph.
Candidates must pay the SET Registration Fee of INR.1750/- through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/Demand Draft
Submit the form.

To apply for admission to a particular Symbiosis institute, the candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps:

Wait for the release of the Merit List on the basis of the SET & PIWAT score.
Login to the college’s official website with the login id and password received over email.
Fill up the online application form available on the link received in the email.
Upload the scanned copy of the required documents.
Pay the academic fees on the bank account number given in the offer letter.
Send the intimation of transfer done to the email as mentioned in the offer letter.

SNAP Registration Process

To apply for admission, the candidates must register for SNAP via the official SNAP website.

Click on 'Register'.
Read all the instructions carefully and then click on the 'I Agree' button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
Select the preferred test city.
Click on 'Save & Continue'.
An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and email id.
After successful registration, one will receive an e-mail & SMS containing their SNAP ID and password.
Use this SNAP ID for all communications regarding the online aptitude test/admission procedure.
Pay the SNAP test registration fee of INR. 1,950/- (non-refundable)
A candidate aspiring to join her/his desired MBA program is required to complete the registration process of those programs before the closing date of the same.
Payment towards the program registration fee must be made through the Registration Portal.
After making the payment for the SNAP Test registration fee, a candidate is required to make a separate registration fee payment of INR. 1,000/-

According to the 2022 highlights, the top 10% of students received an average CTC of INR 11.49 LPA. While the highest CTC was INR 15.31 LPA. SCMHRD, and SIIB offer decent placements as well. Symbiosis Pune is the best among these three law schools. It is the parent institute and is more recognized. SLS Pune offers better academics and learning facilities. In terms of placements, all three of these campuses offer similar opportunities. The placement will also depend a lot on your skills and knowledge. Your preference order for these three campuses should be Pune>Noida>Hyderabad.
