Course Description

BAMU BA admission 2023 will begin soon. Applications form for admission will be released online on the official website – online.bamu.ac.in. BA at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) is a 3-year full-time course at the undergraduate level. This course includes various specializations that allow the students to explore the field they are interested in.

The specializations offered are Dance, Music, Dramatics, Printing Technology and Graphic Arts.
The course work is divided into 6 semesters.
The selection of the course is based on merit.

BAMU BA Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for BA admission at BAMU, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognised board of education.

BAMU BA Admission Criteria

Admission to the BA program at BAMU is granted on the basis of the merit list released by the university, marks secured in the 10+2 examination will be considered for admission. The university doesn't conduct any entrance test for BA admissions.

BAMU BA Application Process

Visit the official website of Bamu.
Register with a username and valid email id.
Enter personal information.
Select the desired course.
Upload the required documents.
Pay the application fee of Rs.200 (General Category) and Rs.100 for Candidates belonging to the SC/ST Category.
Submit the application form.

ATKT (Allowed to keep terms) rules allow students to pursue further education even after failing in a subject. In BAMU, there are no ATKT rules for BSc first-year students. But these are applicable in the third year. In the first year, you are to pass the first and second semesters. In the second year, you are to clear only three subjects in the third and fourth semesters. A student shall not be ineligible to secure admission in the third year if they fail in more subjects. Overall, ATKT rules are simple in BAMU.

BAMU does not use the pointer system used in Pune University. The following are the engineering year down rules of BAMU. There are two sections. One is average, and the other is exam theory marks. The average is of unit tests held in class every week or month. If you fail to obtain the minimum required marks, pass the theoretical tests with higher scores. For architecture, the rules are different and simple. All internals get cleared in colleges. Three subjects back in a year are permissible, but four backs in a year result in the year down. You will not be able to take any subjects from your previous alternate year. Overall, the main thing to keep in mind is the third year. In the third year, even a single back can result in the year down. No such student gets promoted to the fourth year.
