What is your review of Jiwaji University Gwalior?

● Top Answer By Saurav Mishra on 25 Oct 21

Ans
I know a few people from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Based on the reviews I got from them, I will advise against choosing this institute.  The management and administration are not that great.  They declare results and examination notifications quite late. The management hardly listens to the worries of students.  The facilities offered for different departments are not good. It also doesn’t offer any placement opportunities to students.  Considering all these factors, it will be best if you choose other universities for your degree.

What are some helpful tips for students starting their first year at Jiwaji University?

● Top Answer By Rahul Sharma on 25 Oct 21

Ans
A few of my friends graduated from Jiwaji University and here is their advice.  Don't break your studying habit. It’s true that you won’t need much studying to get the degree. But if you want to make a difference in your life, it's necessary for you to work hard. Keep the xerox copies of all important documents on you at all times. Keeping xerox copies of documents like Mark sheets, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, ID Card, Bank Passbook, etc. will come in handy.  Attended classes regularly. Stay in contact with your professors. Try not to miss practical classes, they are important.  According to my friends, it is an average college. So, you will need to put in extra effort to do it. If you are opting for the institute, try to make the most out of it.

Ques

How would you rank Jiwaji University in terms of academics? Is the language of education English or Hindi?

● Top Answer By Esha Talwar on 11 Oct 21

Ans
One of my friends studied at Jiwaji University. According to him, the classes that are conducted are often irregular. Everything depends on the faculty members.  There is an irregular pattern of the exams and results too. The more the number of pages, the better your score will be. Quantity is given preference more than quality. You have to write extra information to fill the papers.  The professors prefer the students choose Hindi as their default language of education. But they are given options to choose either Hindi or English. Some of the topics will not be present in the English textbooks but hopefully, you will not face any problem because Hindi is your second language.

Ques

What are the best things for Jiwaji University students to do on weekends?

● Top Answer By Anwita Dhar on 25 Oct 21

Ans
There are a lot of things to do in Gwalior on a weekend. Gwalior is a really lovely town. You can go sightseeing in the city. You can visit Gwalior fort, Sasbahu Temple. You can spend some time at the Gujari Mahal Archaeological museum. There is an option to enjoy boat rides in the Tighara dam.  In Jiwaji, there aren't many options for activities other than sports and NGOs. But, Jiwaji University has a pretty large sports stadium. You may make use of it. If you are a sports enthusiast, try playing basketball at the sports center or go jogging along the Oxygen path.

Ques

Is Jiwaji University Gwalior good for an M.Sc. in physics?

● Top Answer By Shefali Khatri on 11 Oct 21

Ans
Honestly speaking, pursuing M.Sc in physics at Jiwaji University is a very good idea. Some of my friends graduated from here and are doing quite well. The department of physics, like many of the other departments, has a very good reputation. You will be in an environment that is suitable for research and the professors are not only capable but friendly as well.  The professors are talented and have years of educational experience. Most of the professors are alumni of IITs and also have PhDs from reputed universities. For pursuing M.Sc in physics, candidates have to appear in an entrance exam. They will be selected on the basis of their score in the same. The combined fee for all semesters for M.Sc in physics is INR 27,580.

How can I get sealed transcripts from Jiwaji University for WES?

● Top Answer By Meghna Chaudhri on 11 Oct 21

Ans
According to the information I got after researching online regarding your question, I got to know that you can either get the transcripts in person, or you can send someone you know to get them for you. The documents required for getting the transcripts are: Mark sheets. Even for failed topics and/or re-attempt(s). Degree certificate. The university usually takes about 20-25 working days for issuing the transcripts. You can also get the transcripts through the mail if you are unable to make it to the university in person. You will also be provided a tracking ID. Just mail them the documents and you are good to go. You will keep on getting updates. You can contact the support team in case you have doubts. They themselves contact you if they need something. After you have registered with WES, the university will send the sealed transcript to WES

Ques

Is Jiwaji University Gwalior good for an M.Sc. in chemistry?

● Top Answer By Yash Mathur on 11 Oct 21

Ans
The Department of Chemistry of Jiwaji University Gwalior has some of the best labs in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The alumni network does not let any of the graduate students sit idle and waste their time. A lot of the students, however, do not have respect for the university as the pattern of the exams is not regular and the classes are just as irregular.  There are usually 10 available seats and selection in this college is carried out on the basis of an entrance exam. Here the fees are much more reasonable than other colleges. If you study here, you may not get the best exposure but if you work hard, you could have the chance of succeeding also.

Is jiwaji university good for bcom?

● Top Answer By Shreya Singhania on 22 Oct 21

Ans
Jiwaji University is a good university but there are other universities with better prospects including Manipal University, Sharda University, LPU, RTU, SKIT, ANAND-ICE, JEC, and more. The placement opportunities mostly depend on your abilities and the performance you offer throughout your academic life. Other than the placement opportunities, you can find every other necessary amenity in the institutes mentioned above.

Ques

How is the Institute of Engineering at Jiwaji University Gwalior?

● Top Answer By Snigdha Roy on 25 Oct 21

Ans
I have a few friends from Jiwaji University Gwalior and they didn’t have a good experience at the institute. Here are their insights.  The processes and management of the College have deteriorated, over the years. The Results declaration and examinations are so very late.  Classes are also irregular.  No Professional or good faculty is available. You will find the environment of politics all around. The management doesn’t listen to student concerns.  There is no help for getting training from any PSU or company. The institute also doesn’t offer placements to students.  Based on the reviews I will say, if you have other options, go for it.

Ques

Is Jiwaji University is good for MBA?

● Top Answer By Saurabh Bohra on 11 Oct 21

Ans
MBA offered in Jiwaji University is worth the money and the faculty has a lot of experience and capability.  The highest package offered in the last placement drive was INR 5 LPA.  The percentage of placement is about 80% to 90%. The top recruiters include Pepsi, Amazon, Hero, etc.  Jiwaji University helps in the placement of the students through a cell dedicated only for placements. Through the application tests, the students are sized upon a number of parameters. Followed by the application tests, you have to appear in group discussions then you will be shortlisted for the personal interview round. On successful completion of this round, you are given the offer letter.
