Ques. What is the exam pattern of the DET for getting admission in the DAVV PhD course?
Ans. The doctoral entrance test will be conducted in the offline mode at various approved centers of DAVV. The test will consist of 2 parts namely part A and part B.Part A shall consist of 50 compulsory objective questions of 1 mark each based on research methodology. Part B shall also consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each of 1 mark based on the subject of research. The duration of the test will be 2 hours and there will be no negative marking.
Each student has to pass the examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC) to qualify for the interview.
Ques. What are the steps that have to be followed by the candidate at the time of the DAVV PhD admission?
Ans. One has to bring the duly filled application form along with the prescribed proof and mode of application fees and self-attested copies of all the required documents such as necessary mark sheets, category certificate, photographs, photo ID, etc as per the prescribed information, for DAVV PhD admission.

Ques. What are the minimum attendance days required to submit the DAVV Ph.D. thesis?
Ans. The candidate has to put in at least 200 days of attendance after the completion of the course work in DAVV. The candidate is permitted to submit the thesis, not before three years and not later than 6 years from the date of registration. Registration will automatically cancel in case of failure of submitting the thesis. The women and PWD candidates may be allowed a relaxation of 2 years for Ph.D.
