Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) is located at Kalady near Kochi, Kerala. It was established in the year 1993. There are total a of 9 regional centers of the varsity. SSUS offers multiple post-graduate programs at the Kalady centre. Students will be selected on the basis of merit. He/she must hold an undergraduate degree from a reputed university which is the minimum eligibility criteria to register and fill in the application forms.
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility for the various postgraduate programs offered by the SSUS are called upon to appear for an entrance examination which is conducted in the month of May for each academic session. The purpose of the entrance examination is to assess the candidate’s interest in the subject for which he/she has applied for. It is of maximum 100 marks and 2 hours in duration. The weightage assigned to the entrance examination for the selection process is 10%.
The admission to the MFA Program is done though an entrance examination, academic performance of the candidate followed by interview & portfolio presentation.
The mode of filling up the application form is online wherein applicants can fill in the application form through the university website. The university conducts entrance examinations for all its courses. After the declaration of results, the selected candidates are called for a round of personal interview.
