Course Details

Christ University MCA Admission 2024 is open now. The last date to apply is February 25, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website @christuniversity.in. The selection be based on the Micro Presentation (MP), Personal Interview (PI), and Skill Assessment (SA) conducted by the respective department. Christ University MCA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed their undergraduate degree from any recognized University in India or abroad with 50% or more are eligible to apply for this course.
Students who are in their final year of college must secure an aggregate score of 50% or more in all the semesters of their college.
Applicants should have a background in Computer science or any undergraduate course with Mathematics or electronics.

How to Apply for Christ University MCA?

Applicants will have to register themselves at https://appstat.christuniversity.in to enrol themselves in the admission process.

Applicants will have to create a user id with email and Name (stated in the 10th mark sheet).
The e-mail Id and mobile number will be used to update the applicant on the admission process.
An applicant is eligible to apply to as many programmes as he/she intends if the criteria for application is fulfilled.
The system will generate the date & time for the entrance automatically and changes will not be entertained.
Applicants will receive a google calendar invite a day before the selection process on the registered email Id.

Document required:

Copy of E-Admission card will be mandatory.
Copy of NEFT/Online payment receipt will be mandatory.
Statement of Marks sheet of class 10th and 12th will have to be submitted.
Undergraduate degree with mark sheet should be submitted before the admission panel, if the applicant is a final year student, he/she will have to submit the latest mark sheet issued by the college authority.
The candidate will have to submit the provisional degree certificate if he/she has graduated or will have to submit the attested degree certificate signed by the administrative member if the degree hasn't been issued yet.
Christ University asks for a transfer certificate from the last qualified institution.
Christ University asks for a migration certificate from the last qualified institution from students who studied outside Karnataka.
Statement of marks will be asked to submit from students who are in their final year of the undergraduate degree.
Copy of Passport and Visa details, Medical fitness certificate, the residence permit will be asked from NRI/PIO/OCI/SAARC/AFRICA/ASEAN/Other foreign national students.
Passport-sized photograph, Original Photo Id, Work-related document can be asked to submit.

Christ University MCA Course Details

MCA at Christ University is a two-year programme with six trimesters to connect the abyss between computer studies and applications bringing passionate youth and experts' staff with excellence in their respective field.
The first semester consists of seven subjects (Digital logic and Computer organisation, Relational database management system, Operating system, Probability and statistics, Research methodology, Programming in C and data structure, Web stack development) four subjects of four credits each, two subjects of five credits each, one subject of two credits.
75% attendance is required at Christ University, Students are often awarded extra marks for attendance.

Having done some research on both the colleges, I have gathered some information which I am going to share with you. Hope this answers your question. Christ University Bangalore is a more experienced institute. It has the locational advantage being in Bangalore, which is the IT hub of India. A student of Christ University enjoys higher chances of being hired by IT MNC firms, after completing BBA. There is no exit option for the IPM course in IIM Indore once enrolled. In the current scenario, companies are showing preference to students who have a multi-disciplinary background. Pursuing a BBA and MBA with specializations will be a better option than pursuing a program for five years. Moreover, the average packages offered to the students who are pursuing IPM is less than that offered to the students who are pursuing PGDM. Categories Christ University Bangalore Course Fee 5 lakhs Highest CTC 8 LPA Average CTC 3.56 LPA Recruiting Companies Tech Mahindra, Accenture, IBM, Dell, etc. The final two years of IPM are PGDM. The reason for this is that IPM students have to take IPMAT and for PGDM, they will have to take CAT. CAT is much more difficult than the former. In addition to that, IPM is a new course. So it is really not worth the enormous amount of money. In Christ University, you will know the extent of its brand value.
