Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysore is one of the five institutes of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Trust. It is affiliated to the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University.

It offers B.Com, BCA, B.Sc., BBM, B.Ed. courses at UG level. It also offers B.Sc. - M.Sc. and BCA - MCA as five-year integrated program. As a part of the postgraduate program, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysore also provides MCA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Sc., MJMC and MFA courses. It also provides lateral entry admission to MCA lateral program.

The basic eligibility for B.Com, BCA, B.Sc., BBM courses is a pass in PUC or HSC examination with minimum 50% marks.
The basic eligibility for B.Ed. course is a pass in the final examination under the 10+2+3 system with minimum 50% marks.
Admission to UG program is done on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.
Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with minimum 50% marks can apply for MCA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Sc., MJMC and MFA courses.
Candidates seeking admission for MCA program should have completed Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks and should have studied Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.
For MCA (lateral entry), candidates should have passed BCA or B.Sc. IT/CS degree from recognized university.
Admission to MCA, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Sc., MJMC and MFA courses is done on the basis of entrance examination and personal interview conducted by the university.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysore UG Admission 2023: B.Com, B.Sc., BCA, BBM

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers full-time three-year, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc., and BBM as a part of their undergraduate program. The College has approved an intake of 60 seats per course.

The basic eligibility for all the courses is a pass in the Pre University Course or Higher Secondary Course or equivalent board examination with minimum 50% marks or an equivalent accepted by the university. The admission is based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and a personal interview conducted by the Institute.

Key Points:

Candidates who are appearing for the final examination can also apply provisionally but have to produce the mark sheet during the time of Counselling.
15% of the seats are filled through the management quota and the eligibility for all the courses are same as the merit quota, however, the minimum marks required is 45% instead of 50%.
Candidates with the exceptional academic record will be granted spot admission (without interview or counselling process).
Candidates with three-year Polytechnic Diploma Degree can also apply for the courses.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers full-time five-year integrated course in B.Sc.-M.Sc. and BCA-MCA. The College has approved an intake of 60 seats per course.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers full-time two-year M.Sc., M.Com, M.Sc., MJMC, MFA courses. The College also offers three-year of MCA program. The College also offers MCA lateral-entry admission to the candidates.

Minimum required eligibility for all the PG program is minimum 50% marks with Bachelor’s degree from recognized university. For MCA admission, the candidate should have passed minimum 60% marks with Mathematics/ Statistics as subjects.

The admission is based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination, the candidate’s score in Amrita PG Entrance Examination and the performance in the personal interview.

For MCA Lateral Entry, candidate must pass in BCA/B.Sc. IT/CS with minimum 60% marks. Admission to the program is done on the basis of merit followed by Amrita PG entrance examination and interview.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysore Application Process 2023

Students can submit the application form for admission through both online and offline mode. The notification for admission will be informed at the official website or by other means of advertisements. The application form for all the courses can also be downloaded from the Institute’s official website. The students can also apply online for each course directly.

Steps for Applying Online:

To apply online, the student should register on the Amrita Online Admissions Portal using a valid e-mail ID.
On successful registration, the student can fill all the needed information on the Application page.
All the mandatory fields have to be filled in order to proceed further.
The student should also upload a soft copy of the recent passport size photograph and the signature.
On completion of the application form, a student’s portal will be created with a specific Login ID and Password for the applicant.
This portal will serve a communication page between the Institute and the student.

Steps for Applying Offline:

The students can apply for all the courses through offline mode.
The application form is available on the Institute website and also can be obtained from the Amrita Admission Cell on request, with the application fee.
On receiving the application, the student has to fill all the fields in his/her own handwriting.
The applicant should include a recent passport size photograph in the provision mentioned, sign the application form and submit it to the concerned authority in person or by post.
The application should be accompanied by the application fee of INR 350 (UG program) or INR 450 (PG Program) as Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Amrita School of Arts and Science” Payable at Mysore.
A separate application has to be submitted for different programs.
