At the PG level the university offers Master of Law (LLM) in four specializations. The duration period is one year. Candidates seeking admission in LLM must need to hold a LLB degree at the UG level from a recognized institute or university.
- The admission in LLM programme is accepted through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a non-statutory body created under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the convenience of the students seeking admission to various National Law Universities in the country.

NUSRL Ph.D Admission 2023
The NUSRL serves research based Doctoral programme, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in the area of Law. Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D must need to secure a LLM degree to meet the eligibility criteria.
The university makes the selection process through an Entrance Test. The performance of the candidates in the exam decides the selection of the candidates for the refered course.
KeyNote:
- PhD program is residential. Therefore, students are required to reside in the Hostel compulsorily provided by the University during the course of their program.
- PhD program is time-bound program. Therefore, the students are required to complete their degree programs within the stipulated time or else they shall not be eligible for getting a degree. There is no provision for extension of the time required for the completion of the Programs.
