As you might be aware that Gujarat University is affiliated with 235 colleges so the university itself does not issue a transcript.

  • You will have to apply for the transcript at your college and then GU will just verify it.
  • Your college will be responsible for the stamp on it.
  • You can get it from the Consumers Store - it is a place on the college premises.
  • In order to get more information, you can visit GU and their staff will help you further with it.
  • An alternative that my friend chose was to avail of the services of Mail Transcript.
  • They will do all the necessary work on your behalf while you just have to wait at home to receive your transcript.
  • The service provider is quick with any of your queries and doubts.

You can go with either of the options that are more viable for you. Though it is suggested that you go for the services of Mail Transcript, as it will be easier and hassle-free.

After doing some research online regarding your question, I found out about both the institutes. Let me share the facts I got to know about them.

Gujarat Technological University -

  • Gujarat Technological University situated in Ahmedabad came into existence in 2007.
  • The university has 486 colleges affiliated with it and it provides courses in the field of Science and Commerce.
  • It is headed by the state government.
  • You can look for management, pharmacy, and engineering courses in the college for graduation and post-graduation.

Gujarat University -

  • It is also located in Ahmedabad and is headed by the state government.
  • The grounds that it differs from GTU are the courses it has to offer.
  • It has courses related to Arts, Science, Commerce stream and lacks any engineering courses.

If we look at the placement factor, then surely GTU has better prospects than GU. The highest package offered was 3.45 LPA in 2020 in GTU.

Choose the one that suits you and fulfills your requirements. Ultimately it is your decision that matters.

One of my friends studied at Gujarat University. According to him, it offers you good academics and placements. Some tips that you can keep in mind while just beginning to lead your college life are mentioned below:

Consistency:

  • There are going to be changed in your life as you move from school to college. You need to make a schedule, plan your goals and track your everyday tasks.
  • The key to achieving your goals is to be consistent and keep a track of it daily.

Choose your circle:

  • It is not about having too many friends but be sure to have a tight circle where your growth is not hindered.
  • You can have many acquaintances that will build a good network for you.

Groom yourself:

  • A college is a place where you get ample opportunities to participate in different events, clubs, panels, and like.
  • It will act as a good chance for you to learn some skills and even communicate with many like minds as yourself.

Study smart:

  • It is not always about marks but certainly, they matter.
  • If the placements depend on your CGPA score then you should take care of it.
  • You do not have to study for the sake of exams but gain knowledge on your subject too so that you can prove your expertise.
  • It will be one of the many things that will help you choose your career.

Lastly, you will have to make it a habit to make running notes while in class. It will help you with your writing practice that will prove to be useful in the exams. Students nowadays use devices a lot so their typing speed is usually better than their writing speed and it becomes an obstacle in the exam. You need to manage your time well so you do not have to skip the questions.
