Goa University a 3 -year, undergraduate Bachelor’s in Business Administration (B.B.A) in 5 different specializations. It is offered in the following specializations General, Shipping and logistics, Hospitality and Culinary Education, Travel and tourism, and Financial Services are the specializations available. The general course further has specializations in Finance, Human resources, Marketing, Operations, and Systems.

Goa University BBA Eligibility Criteria

The minimum requirement is to have passed 10+2 exam from a recognized board with a minimum 50% aggregate is required for admission to BBA at Goa University.

Eligibility criteria differ from college to college. Some institutions require interviews, while others prepare the merit-based on entrance exams. The following table describes the eligibility criteria of all the affiliated colleges.

Goa University BBA Admission Guidelines

Several colleges require the UGAT entrance exam. UGAT is an exam conducted by AIMA for management courses such as B.B.A. It can be taken in paper-based or computer-based format

Forms are released on the official website. Application forms must be filled from the individual college website
Students should register on the admission portal with unique email ID and phone number
Candidates must fill up personal and academic details
Application fee of INR 650 must be paid online
Scanned photo and signature of the candidate must be uploaded on the website
Admit card can be downloaded from the website.

Documents required at the time of admission are:

Scanned photo and signature of the candidate
12th marksheet
12th leaving certificate
ID proof
UGAT scorecard (if needed)
Caste/ disability certificate (if needed)

Colleges will then conduct entrance exams/ interviews according to their protocol. Merit list will be announced on the official college website based on admission criteria. Selected students can then report to the college for document verification and fee payment with originals of all uploaded documents

You can apply online for Goa University transcripts. Go to the official website of Goa University. Navigate to ‘Systems’. You will find an option to apply for transcripts and other certificates under the Academic Matters option. Fill in the application form with the required details. You need to upload the following documents. Photocopy of Marksheets Passing Certificate or Convocation Degree (For WES certification, Convocation degree is a must) Internship Certificate, if applicable You need to submit the required fees. Here is the fee structure. Type of Documents Rupees per Copy Issue of TRanscript with WES/Other Agencies Verification 900 Issue of Transcript 500 WES/Other Agency Verification 400 Medium of Instruction Certificate 150 You should apply at least one month in advance. Transcripts aren’t sent by post and you need to collect them from the office.

Goa University offers you with all the good aspects there are of a university. The students who have passed out from here will agree to it- about the faculty and placements as well. The previous year students have the same feedback about the professors there like the present year students. The faculty is very supportive and polite. They make sure to keep you updated with all the latest technology. They know what they are teaching and have in-depth knowledge of their specialised courses. But do not leave it all to them because there has to be efforts from your side too. It is always about give and take, it has to be both ways. As for the placement, certainly, some good companies and IT MNCs come for the recruitment and if you have it in you, then you can crack the interview as well. You will have to make sure to keep your result up to a level and appear for the interviews. It is not easy but if you set your mind to it, then it is possible. You can talk directly to the alumni to find out more about the intricacies of the course and the college.

One of my friends studied at Goa University. According to him, it has a very small campus when compared to other colleges of the same category. But well, it has so much more to offer than the area of campus. There are a number of different programs offered for you to do your graduation in. The management is very reliable and the admin team makes it run better than the other colleges. The faculty is very supportive and you get good placements coming to the university. Even though people feel that there is not much exposure at Goa University, it is not true. There have been many students who would prove that they have grabbed some very good opportunities by passing out from Goa University. Goa University has a different system to calculate the marks and percentage of a student. The aggregate of your last 4 semesters is considered and an aggregate percentage is calculated as - {(5+6)/2 +7+8)}/03 Next, you need to be at the top among all the colleges that come under Goa University- GCE, PCCE, DBCE, RIET, AITD and not just the one where you study. If you top among all the branches of these colleges, then you will be presented awards at the convocation. Although not all the toppers get a gold medal, so you need to check with your department if they have it or not. It is up to you and not just about getting the gold medal. It is about gaining knowledge, your growth, and making sure that you plan your career and get a job of your interest.
