IGNOU M.Com admission 2024 for the July session has been started. The last date to apply is July 15, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of IGNOU @ignou.ac.in. IGNOU offers a Master of Commerce (M.Com) in four specializations at the PG level. The duration of the course is two years (minimum) and can extend up to five years (maximum).For admission to M.Com, a candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying degree. Program fee is INR 13,200 (6600 per year).  Check IGNOU Admission Status

IGNOU invites applications for admission to M.Com twice a year i.e. in January and July. Interested candidates can register for the M.Com program directly through the official IGNOU admission portal and submit the fees via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

IGNOU M.Com Assignments 2024

Assignments constitute continuous evaluation. The marks that you secure in the assignments will be counted in your final result. As mentioned earlier, an assignment of a course carries 30% weightage. You are therefore advised to take your assignment seriously. 

Non Submission of Assignment

The TMA for each semester can be downloaded from the Student Zone of the University website. You have to complete the assignment within the due dates specified in the assignment booklet. You will not be allowed to appear for the term-end examination for any course if you do not submit the assignment in time for that course. If you appear in the term-end examination, without submitting the assignments, the result of the term-end examination is liable to be canceled.

How to Apply?

Candidates can fill and submit the application form for M.Com program through online mode. Interested candidates can apply by following the below given steps:

1. Visit the admission portal of IGNOU and create your user ID & password by clicking the "Register Yourself" button. Student must remember his/her Username and Password for subsequent login.
2. Already registered/ existing users must click the "Login" button and enter their username along with the password to go any further.
3. Fill the application form and upload the required documents.
4. Pay the application fee through Online Payment Gateway, i.e. by Debit/ Credit card or through net-banking.
5. After successful fee submission, take the printout of payment confirmation slip for future correspondence.
6. Click on ‘Submit’ to complete the application process successfully.
7. Students can keep track of the application status by using their registration number & password.

Note: Do not send the hard copy of the application form to any of the regional centers of IGNOU.

IGNOU M.Com Eligibility Criteria

M.Com (General) is specially designed to equip students with the necessary conceptual, entrepreneurial and analytical skills required for handling the Business Operation, particularly in International Business.

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or any higher degree from a recognized university.

IGNOU Reservation

Students with a disability of 40% or more are given additional two years beyond the maximum duration prescribed for the completion of program. IGNOU offers reservation to SC/ST/ NCL-OBC/ War Widows/ Kashmiri Migrants and Physically Handicapped as per the rules prescribed by the Government of India.

IGNOU M.Com Scholarship

Scholarship forms can be obtained from the Regional Center of IGNOU followed by submission at Social Welfare Office or Directorate of Social Welfare in the respective states.

National Center for Promotion of Employment of Disabled People (NCPEDP) also offers scholarships to the students enrolled in the PG programs offered by IGNOU.
