IGNOU BCA Assignments

Assignments constitute continuous evaluation. The marks that you secure in the assignments will be counted in your final result. As mentioned earlier, an assignment of a course carries 30% weightage. You are therefore advised to take your assignment seriously. 

Non Submission of Assignment

The TMA for each semester can be downloaded from the Student Zone of the University website. You have to complete the assignment within the due dates specified in the assignment booklet. You will not be allowed to appear for the term-end examination for any course if you do not submit the assignment in time for that course. If you appear in the term-end examination, without submitting the assignments, the result of the term-end examination is liable to be canceled.

How to Apply for IGNOU BCA?

Eligible candidates can apply to IGNOU BCA Admission through an online medium on IGNOU’s official website. Candidates can follow the below mentioned steps to apply:

Step 1: Visit the official website IGNOU, (ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in)

Step 2: For New registration click on “New Registration” Button, or else click on the Login button.

Step 3: Fill in the asked details such as, personal details, program details, correspondence and course details.

Step 4: Upload the scanned documents: 

• Photograph
• Signature
• Education qualification
• Category certificate
• Age proof 
• Experience certificate (if any).

Step 5: Pay the online application fee through any medium like credit/ debit card or net banking.

Step 6: Preview the IGNOU BCA Application Form and submit.

Step 7: Download and print the application form for future reference.

IGNOU BCA Credit System:

IGNOU follows a credit system for the BCA program and each credit is worth 30 hours of study and learning. Therefore 3 credit course comprises 90 study hours.

IGNOU BCA Syllabus

IGNOU follows a semester system for BCA course. There will be two semesters in a year January to June and July to December. Examination will be conducted in June and December for the respective semesters. This program is of 39 courses and has 99 credits.
