Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (IKSVV) is a University of Music, Dance, Fine Arts and Theatre. Established in the year 1956, it is situated in the Khairagarh township of Chhattisgarh.
IKSVV Khairagarh offers courses such as BPA, BFA and B.Voc at the undergraduate level and MA, MFA, M.Phil, Ph.D. and D.Litt in various specializations at the PG and doctoral level.

Applicants seeking admission to any UG or PG course need to appear in the Aptitude Test conducted by the university.
- The application to the university can be made in offline mode by paying the application fee via cash or DD.
- The eligibility to apply for UG courses is 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
- The essential qualification to apply for PG courses is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 45% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the concerned subject.
- For M.Phil admissions, applicants who have secured minimum 55% marks in the concerned subject at PG level will be eligible.
- The eligibility to apply for Ph.D. is M. Music/M. Dance/MFA/MA (Music/Dance/Fine Arts/ Hindi/English/ Sanskrit/Theatre/Folk Music/Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology) or any other equivalent qualification with minimum 55% marks.
- The final selection shall be based on candidate’s performance in entrance exam and interview.
- A scholar will be eligible for the degree of D.Litt. only when she/he holds a Ph.D. degree of minimum five-year duration.
- Admission to D.Litt is permissible only if the university approves the subject of research.
