Admissions to the Ph.D. program are offered on the basis of the Pre-PhD Test (PAT) conducted by the university. Magadh University offers a Ph.D. program. The duration of the program is of 3 years. It is a full-time degree course. There are a total of 16 streams offered by Magadh university's Ph.D. program.

Magadh University offers PhD program in Commerce, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, Computer Science, Food and Nutrition, Zoology, SAnskrit, Geography, Buddhist Studies, Home Science, Persian, Botany, Microbiology, Development Communication and Extension, Human Development and Childhood Studies. Magadh University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Ph.D. program is-

The candidate must hold a Master’s Degree from any recognized University in a relevant subject with a minimum of 55% or an equivalent grade.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, differently-abled, relaxation will be accorded as per the decision of the UGC and Govt. of India.
Candidates who have passed UGC JRF Exams/NET/SET/SELT or have an M.Phil degree can easily apply for an interview.

Magadh University Ph.D. Admission Process

The application form can be obtained from the official website of Magadh University. The application fee is INR 500/-.
