Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) was established in 2006 in Patna, Bihar, as a public university for law education and was established by the government of Bihar. It is one of the best autonomous law schools in India. Admission in CNLU is based on the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) examination for the UG course and research program. For the Doctorate course, there is another entrance exam. Selection of all courses are completely merit-based, you need to pass the entrance exam for the admission in this college. CNLU Patna Scholarship
The Chanakya National Law University collaborates with the Bihar government to provide scholarships to students to help grow in their education path with less financial constraints. The government of Bihar has scholarships for the Reservation category, Economically Weaker section, students. It also provides Merit cum Means scholarship. In this scholarship, the students are provided aid for books and stationery along with tuition fee waivers, if they score a high percentage of marks every year.

The admission is done based on the CLAT Score. If you get an AIR rank of anything above 1800, you will be able to get admission to the General category. For OBC, one can get admission if their rank is above 4400, SC/ST, and one will be able to take admission if they score anything above 15000.
