• Humanitarian health programmes delivered by development organisations are increasingly complex and costly, requiring professional management. There is therefore a growing need for professional management training in humanitarian aid. 
  • The multidisciplinary course in Humanitarian Health Programme Management is designed to meet this need. The course investigates current approaches to the management of humanitarian health programmes, and identifies and develops models of good practice. 
  • Students can study regional and country case studies in-depth, and have a choice of modules that address specific aspects of humanitarian interventions. Participants also have an opportunity to develop and undertake a research project, usually overseas, in an area of special interest indicated by client NGOs, international organisations, or national ministries.
