The MSc in Geographic Information and Climate Change gives cross-disciplinary training in the scientific basis of GIS, satellite remote sensing and earth system modelling, alongside aspects of climate change.

Academic Eligibility:

Normally a 2:2 degree (with 55% average) in an approved subject. Applicants are expected to have good mathematical and computing skills.

Indian Students Eligibility:

Applicants must have a bachelor degree in a relevant field with 55% from recognised institution.

Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
The application needs to be made through the UK Embassy or UK High Commission at their place of permanent residence. One must apply for a visa 3 months prior to the commencement of the course.

An applicant needs to pay the visa application fee before applying for a student visa and submit the following documents:
