Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students hold a 2:1 degree in law or computer science, although they will consider candidates with a 2:2 based on their overall and individual module performance.
Candidates with relevant experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Indian Students Eligibility:

Applicants must have a bachelor degree in law or computer science with 60% from a recognised institution.
Applicants having a degree with 55% are also considered based on their overall and individual module performance.
Candidates with relevant experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
The application needs to be made through the UK Embassy or UK High Commission at their place of permanent residence. One must apply for a visa 3 months prior to the commencement of the course.

An applicant needs to pay the visa application fee before applying for a student visa and submit the following documents:

CAS Number (Issued by the university)
Proof of Financial support
Passport
Evidence of English Language Proficiency, if required.
Once done with all the formalities, schedule and attend the visa interview.
