Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
The application needs to be made through the UK Embassy or UK High Commission at their place of permanent residence. One must apply for a visa 3 months prior to the commencement of the course.

An applicant needs to pay the visa application fee before applying for a student visa and submit the following documents:

CAS Number (Issued by the university)
Proof of Financial support
Passport
Evidence of English Language Proficiency, if required.
Once done with all the formalities, schedule and attend the visa interview.
