Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students should have completed a bachelor’s degree with:
- 55%; or
- CGPA 6.1 (10 point system); or
- CGPA 4.5 (7 point system); or
- CGPA 2.67 (4 point system)
Students should have a minimum of 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree. Any degree subject will be considered.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

A letter confirming the Medium of Instruction is required from University unless it clearly states on the marks sheets/transcripts that all teaching has been conducted in English.

Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
The application needs to be made through the UK Embassy or UK High Commission at their place of permanent residence. One must apply for a visa 3 months prior to the commencement of the course.

An applicant needs to pay the visa application fee before applying for a student visa and submit the following documents:
