The MSc Accounting and Finance course at Swansea University will help students develop an advanced and in-depth understanding of key accounting and finance topics that will fast-track their future career prospects.
Students don’t need a background in accounting or finance to study this one-year conversion course. It’s designed to enhance their undergraduate study and accelerate students into their chosen profession anywhere in the world.
The programme is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and includes exemption from up to seven ACCA Fundamental exams. This is based on their prior learning and prevents student having to study the same topics they’ve already been taught.

Successful completion of a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognised institution with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division:
60%; or CGPA 6.7 (10 point system); or CGPA 6 (7 point system); or CGPA 3 (4 point system) - including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
(55% or CGPA 6.1 (10 point system) or CGPA 5.5 (7 point system) or CGPA 2.67 (4 point system) for institutes of national importance/LLB) including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).

Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
The application needs to be made through the UK Embassy or UK High Commission at their place of permanent residence. One must apply for a visa 3 months prior to the commencement of the course.
