The MA in International Journalism provides a dynamic and robust approach to teaching contemporary journalism through the lens of globalization and digitalization.
This will refine student's knowledge and understanding of journalism in 21st-century society through practical skills and journalistic production techniques, exploring specific practice from theoretical and analytical perspectives.
Graduates of this course go on to successful and rewarding careers in journalism, media, communication and PR, broadcasting, and publishing.

Successful completion of a relevant Bachelors degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division:
60%; or CGPA 6.7 (10 point system); or CGPA 6 (7 point system); or CGPA 3 (4 point system) - including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).
(55% or CGPA 6.1 (10 point system) or CGPA 5.5 (7 point system) or CGPA 2.67 (4 point system) for institutes of national importance/LLB) including Standard XII in English - 70% or above (or equivalent).

Applicants from non-European countries who seek an international degree at Swansea University require a student visa. Once the student is accepted by the university, he /she should apply for a ‘short-term study visa (for a duration of fewer than 6 months)’ or ‘Tier-4 (General) student visa’.
