MSc in Big Data is a 12-month, on-campus program offered on both full-time and part-time basis.
The MSc Big Data is a taught advanced Masters degree covering the technology of Big Data and the science of data analytics.
Students will gain practical skills in big data technology, advanced analytics and industrial and scientific applications.
The course will teach students how to collect, manage and analyse big, fast moving data for science or commerce. Students will learn skills in cutting-edge technology such as Python, R, Hadoop, NoSQL and Machine Learning.

There are no application deadlines for postgraduate study; applications will be considered throughout the year. International applicants requiring a student visa are advised to apply at least eight weeks in advance of the start date.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must hold a minimum of a second class honours degree or equivalent in a numerate subject such as maths, computing, engineering or an analytic science.
Applicants without the formal qualifications but with significant appropriate work experience are encouraged to apply.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to get admission in this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete their bachelors degree from a recognized university.
Students must complete their graduation with 50% from Tier 1 College/ University (namely University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi) or graduating with 55% from a Tier 2 College/University.
