At the bachelor's level, international students are offered a small number of the University of Oxford Scholarships, which are centrally administered. All the scholarships offer students substantial grants which cover the living cost and tuition fee of their chosen Oxford UG program. For the 2022-2023 academic session at the University of Oxford, the cost of attendance for an international bachelor student includes

University of Oxford Scholarships: Graduate Funding

Masters and doctoral program students are offered the University of Oxford Scholarships in partnership with Foundation, donor, or corporate entity. The University contributes 40% of the funds for these scholarships, whereas 60% is contributed by the partner organization.

Prospective applicants of the University of Oxford Scholarships for Masters and Doctoral programs must be academically meritorious. This is one eligibility requirement that is common across all the scholarships. 

The academic excellence of the applicants is judged on the basis of their performance in the completed bachelor's and master's degrees. While the University has not established any specific academic threshold to be considered for the scholarships, you do have minimum academic requirements for admission purposes- UK first-class degree or UK second-class degree. For the Indian students, the equivalent of 

  • the UK upper first-class undergraduate degree with honors is 75% or above in a 4-year degree program.
  • the UK upper second-class undergraduate degree with honors is 65% or higher in a 4-year degree program.

Students exceeding these academic requirements will be given preference for the scholarships, at least the admission-based scholarships.
