In the first and second years of the program, students will take a balanced selection of modules in both UCL Mathematics and UCL Statistical Science. Students will take a selection of designated modules in the third year and undertake a major project in their fourth year, which will include a substantial piece of written work and a presentation.
Statistics will include much practical work while mathematics will cover the theoretical aspects of the pure mathematics required to sustain and understand this.
This program is offered as a three-year BSc or a four-year MSci degree. The first two years of the program are identical, and students are advised to apply for the MSci degree in the first instance, as it is possible to transfer to the BSc during the first three years.
Upon successful completion of 480 credits, students will be awarded an MSci (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistical Science.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an A*A*A with A*A* in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and A in Physics, or A*AA with A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and A in Physics, any order, and a 2 in any STEP Paper or a Distinction in the Mathematics AEA.
GCSEs English Language at grade C or 5.
Students must have an IB score of 40 of which 40 points overall with 20 points in three higher level subjects including 7 in higher level Mathematics and 6 in higher level Physics, or 39 overall with 19 in three higher level subjects including 7 in higher level Mathematics, 6 in higher level Physics plus a grade 2 in any STEP paper/distinction in Mathematics AEA.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Students Eligibility:

Successful completion of one year of a Bachelor's Degree at an Indian university recognized by UCL, with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class.
The Year 12/Standard 12 Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE or CBSE with five subjects at 95, 95, 95, 90, and 90.

Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.

Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
The student should have offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on your circumstances.
Should speak, read, write and understand English and have consent from their parents if they‘re 16 or 17 - need evidence of this when applying.
