• The program is intended to provide students with a deeper theoretical and contextual knowledge to allow students to develop their clinical decision-making skills in subspecialty areas and plan coherent next steps and further specialist study, research, and training in readiness for patient-facing clinical practice and research.
  • Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.
  • The program consists of six compulsory modules (90 credits) and a research project (90 credits). There are no optional modules.
  • Upon successful completion of 180 credits, students will be awarded an MSc in Ophthalmology.
