- Students are encouraged to take a long view of conservation and heritage management and are challenged to define problems, set objectives and explore a range of sustainability issues and strategies. Concepts of value, sustainability, life expectancy, stewardship, ownership, vulnerability and risk are interwoven with the scientific study of historic materials, assemblies, technologies and systems.
- Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.
- The programme consists of three compulsory modules (60 credits), three optional modules (60 credits), and a dissertation (60 credits).
- Upon successful completion of 180 credits, students will be awarded an MSc in Built Environment: Sustainable Heritage.
