This program offers students the opportunity to extend their knowledge of the key practical and theoretical aspects of neuro physiotherapy. Students will challenge the foundations of established but poorly justified treatments, develop and undertake clinical research and learn about new and emerging treatment options. Students will also benefit from the mentorship of recognized experts in neuro physiotherapy.
Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.
The program consists of five compulsory modules (75 credits), three optional modules (45 credits), and a dissertation/report (60 credits).
Upon successful completion of 180 credits, students will be awarded an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy: Neurophysiotherapy.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must hold a minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor's degree or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in Physiotherapy.
Students to have at least two years post-qualification clinical experience and UK state registration is preferred.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Students Eligibility:

A Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 7.75/10, 6.25/8.0, 5.75/7.0, 4.25/6.0, 3.3/4.0, or 60% where a GPA scale is not used.
The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.

VISA & Work Study

VISA

Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
The student should have offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on your circumstances.
Should speak, read, write and understand English and have consent from their parents if they‘re 16 or 17 - need evidence of this when applying.

Career and Placement after Course

There is a compulsory three-week placement (105 hours of contact time) and an optional second placement. These placements are part of the Clinical Education in Advanced Physiotherapy modules.

private practice, the management, or highly specialist clinical practice.
