The Architectural Computation MRes offers a self-directed route that concentrates on research skills, for those intending to take a doctoral degree or those looking to take their existing architecture and computing experience to a higher level. The program can be taken alone or as the first year of Virtual Environments, Imaging and Visualisation (VEIV) EngD.

On completion of the program, students will be able to use computational techniques in architecture, understand and predict the consequences of their design actions through computational processes, integrate their predictions into the design process, and carry out self-sufficient research into new methods and processes.
Upon successful completion of 180 credits, students will be awarded an MRes in Architectural Computation.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must hold a minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
Candidates are expected to have some basic computing experience.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.

Indian Students Eligibility:

A Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall CGPA of 6.75/10, 5.75/8.0, 5.25/7.0, 3.75/6.0, 3.0/4.0, or 55% where a GPA scale is not used.
The overall mark required is dependent on the subject and the ranking of the institution at which the degree has been taken.

Following are the required Documents:

Resume/CV - This provides a summary of a student's experience and skills.
Higher Secondary School Certificate - The certificate provided by the education board after completion of the Higher secondary education.
Statement of marks - The marks statement provided by the education board.
Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc.

Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
The student should have offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on your circumstances.
Should speak, read, write and understand English and have consent from their parents if they‘re 16 or 17 - need evidence of this when applying.
