• The first year of the degree usually comprises a combination of compulsory modules and one elective module. Compulsory modules include the study of experimental design in psychology, the neurological underpinnings of behavior, individual differences, and social psychology.
  • There are no optional modules in the second year, but the learning will continue into areas such as health and clinical psychology, language and cognition, and research methods in Psychology.
  • In the final year, students will choose modules to be taken in psychology and will undertake a research project on a subject of their choice. Students project will be supervised by a member of staff and will be an empirical and usually experimental piece of research that utilizes the skills have learned.
  • Upon successful completion of 360 credits, students will be awarded a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.
