The MSc course from ÊaimsÊto develop the professional capability of human resource management practitioners through developing a range of skills, knowledge and understanding in Leadership and HR Management, including:

  • people management and development,
  • business understanding,
  • professional and ethical behaviour,
  • analytical and intuitive/creative thinking
  • continuing learning and development

You can choose to study the PgDip as a stand alone qualification or you can choose to complete the full Masters qualification. Both courses are approved by the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD)and meet the CIPD Advanced Standards. This means on successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma or MSc you'll become an Associate member of the CIPD. In addition the programme provides you with the knowledge to upgrade to either Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow levels of professional membership, providing you meet the respective criteria as set by the CIPD.

Employability

The programme is designed for professionals or line managers who are working in the field of Human Resource Management or Development. Students who have successfully completed the course have found it has enabled them to take on additional responsibilities and/ or move onto more senior positions within HR and/or Management.
