• Geography at LSE focuses on improving understanding of the social, economic, and environmental aspects of geography and informing policy processes worldwide.
  • Students will learn to understand the uneven nature of economic and social development and the varying characteristics of people’s lives in different locations and will develop methodological skills for conducting and analyzing their own research.
  • In the third year, students will undertake an independent research project, which will allow them to apply their knowledge to a topic of their choosing subjects.
  • This degree aims to produce highly trained geographers, skilled in economic, social  and environmental geography with reference to developed and developing countries.
