University of Leeds Accommodation Applications

The university follows a well-established process for the applications of on-campus accommodation and it is the same of undergraduate and postgraduate residence. The step-by-step process for the accommodation applications is given below:

Application Process

  1. Accept your offer of admission to University of Leeds
  2. Choose your UG/PG accommodation.
  3. Apply for the Accommodation using UCAS Id or Leeds Student ID (as applicable)
  4. Submit your application and check for a confirmation email.

Application Deadlines

  • July 1: For new UG students, exchange students, International Foundation Year Students, PG students of September/October session.
  • August 31: For students accepted through Clearing.
  • September 30: For PG students of January session.
  • December 1: Exchange students starting studies at Leeds in January (Semester II).

Allocation of Accommodation

Based on the preference of the students, the University of Leeds accommodation applications are reviewed and residences are allocated within 20-30 days. The university doesn’t guarantee students their first residence choice but ensures that they get one of the residences listed in their applications.

Accepting the Accommodation Offer
