• They introduce students to the Thai language and culture from the beginners’ level through core modules in their first year, while their choice of optional modules will give them the chance to focus on the areas of life in Thailand. This will form the foundation for them in the second year.
  • For students the second year, they will study in Thailand. They will develop their language skills and immerse themself in Thai culture to gain first-hand experience of living in Thailand.
  • When students return to Leeds for their third and fourth year, they will study advanced language modules, that will be delivered mostly in Thai, to refine your spoken and written Thai.
  • Students will also look at the emergence of the Thai nation, how Buddhism has shaped society, and Thailand’s distinctive media.
