Our new four-year MSocSci programme builds on the rigour of our three-year undergraduate courses. This qualification will give you a competitive edge in the labour market. Employers need you to have a range of transferable skills. The MSocSci combines traditional study, team working and applied social research in a vibrant learning environment.
As this is an extended undergraduate programme (also known as an integrated MasterÕs programme), your fourth year of study is funded in the same way as the first three years of your undergraduate degree.
Students registered for a BA (joint or single honours) or BSc degree (single honours) may transfer to the MSocSci at the end of Year 2 or Year 3 subject to achieving an average of 50% in each relevant year.
Students registered for an MSocSci may transfer to a BA or BSc at any point during the first three years.
