By studying for a degree in Marketing (Hons), Bangor University you will develop skills and knowledge of the key strategic and operational aspects of marketing, and you will gain an awareness of the external marketing environment.

Strategic and operational aspects of marketing include the formulation of marketing strategies, managing the marketing function and its positioning relative to other key business functions, advertising and branding, customer relations management, applications of information technology, and e-marketing.

The external marketing environment encompasses consumer behaviour and consumer psychology, marketing communication, public relations and market research. This course programme also provides coverage across the broader range of business and management subjects, developing knowledge and understanding of organisations, their management and the changing external environment in which they operate.

Graduates of this degree will be eligible for exemptions from some modules of the Chartered Institute of MarketingÕs professional qualifications.
