MS in Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Power Plant Technologies at the University of Strathclyde is offered as a 1-year program.

Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Power Plant Technologies provides mechanical engineering graduates with an in-depth technical understanding of advanced mechanical engineering topics relevant to the power generation industry.
Students will also develop generic skills that allow students to contribute effectively in developing company capabilities

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants must hold a first-class or second-class honors degree (or international equivalent) in engineering or physical sciences, or equivalent professional qualification.
A lower-class degree may be considered with relevant work experience.
A GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 is required to be eligible for the program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Students must complete an undergraduate degree with first-class in a relevant field from a highly ranked university in India.
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
