• M.Phil in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge is offered on a full-time basis for a duration of 12-months.
  • This is an on-campus and research-based degree program.
  • Students will carry out research under the supervision of the principal investigator.
  • The course aims to give students relevant experience, the opportunity to carry out focused research in their discipline under close supervision, and the opportunity to acquire or develop skills and expertise relevant to their research interests. 
  • Students are required to attend at least 50% of department seminars during Michaelmas and Lent terms. Lists of the seminars are provided at the start of each term.
  • MPhil students are expected to present their work as part of their assessment for the award of the degree.
  • Students will submit a 15,000-word thesis and are examined orally by two examiners – one internal and one external to the University.
