The Cyberpsychology (Hons) programme at Bournemouth UniversityÊill help you to develop a well-rounded knowledge of all areas of psychology. YouÕll learn a range of research skills and methods to investigate traditional and online behaviour, and youÕll be able to apply that knowledge in a variety of contexts Ð including conducting your own independent research.
Your learning will be based within the Department of Psychology where youÕll have access to state-of-the art facilities such as eye tracking technology to help you understand how people, groups, organisations and societies interact with, and make use of, technology.
An optional 30-week placement after your second year can add valuable industry experience to your CV, as well as enabling you to put your learning into practice. It will also give you the chance to begin building a valuable network of contacts - a vital part of getting your career off the ground.

This degree will provide a basis for postgraduate studies for professional or academic careers in Psychology as to some extent they all use technology (e.g. clinical, educational, occupational, sports, forensic and health psychology). The degree will also equip students for a range of other careers including cybersecurity, video games evaluation and implementation, online training, teaching, management consultancy, social media marketing and advertising, security and forensic, health promotion and personnel work.Ê
