Singapore’s National University of Singapore dropped two places to rank 10th in the QS World University Rankings 2027 released on 18 June 2026, ending a three-year run at 8th. The fall came on the back of a 19-place drop in citations per faculty, even as academic and employer reputation scores improved. Indian students still see NUS as Asia’s top university with a 96.2 overall score and strong placement outcomes.
