• The Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine established the Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Nursing) programme in August 2006. The BSc (Nursing) degree is a 3-year undergraduate programme. Students who have performed well throughout the programme and achieved a minimum cumulative average point of 3.2 are eligible to apply to proceed to the Honours year, leading to the BSc (Nursing) (Honours).
  • The BSc (Nursing) aims to prepare nurses to be safe and competent practitioners. Through the acquisition of knowledge and skills, registered nurses develop critical, analytical, and reflective skills to deliver quality care that will improve patient outcomes. They will be prepared to work with other healthcare professionals in various healthcare settings. The programme provides a broad foundation in nursing, humanities, biological and social sciences, which are essential for preparing safe and professional nurses. In addition, it is designed to provide a foundation for graduate education in nursing.
