- Placement opportunities are poor and the package isn't that good

Remarks :
I applied to VIT Vellore but didn't get good reviews from the students there. The college is great but the hostel Life isn't. I got rejected from Manipal University because I didn't meet their eligibility criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I didn't pay attention to the curriculum I chose this course because in interested in it. But the college curriculum is good. Teachers just read ppts and don't teach anything. So what's the point of even going to the college?
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible from the final sem. Haven't had any placement companies visit us yet so I don't know the details. From what I know from my seniors the Average package is 5,00,000 rupees. I am planning on doing PhD after my master's.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I don't know the fees structure for my collegr but the total fees per year is 1,30,000 rupees and can change based on the course or where the final year project is performed. I didn't receive any scholarship from the college or government.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of clubs and groups and events too. But I don't participate in extra or co cullicular events so I don't the exact names of the events. However there are a lot of good events and fests happening throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is decent. Not too bad. The food tastes good but it's almost the same food everyday. The registration process was quite easy because it's an in campus hostel. The locality is good and well developed so everyday goods are easy to get.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio isn't too bad. There are enough teachers to teach every class at the same time. Overall the faculties are average with some being decent and some being atrocious. There 2 exams per same one mid sem and one end sem. The exams aren't too difficult l.
