For the eligibility criteria, BSc in Microbiology is required. They display their application and admission details on the Ruia College Official Website. For admission in Master's degree, they have college entrance exams and selection is based on the merit of the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is such that it paves your way towards clearing entrance exams. It covers over-all topics that are included in the syllabi of CSIR UGC NET - Life Sciences. In the whole academic year, they have internals as well as external assessments.
Internships Opportunities :
The Department of Microbiology of Ruia College is in good contact and affiliation with various industries and institutions. The internship opportunities are given in BARC, IIT-Bombay, SRL Diagnostics, HiMedia, BioGenomics, FDA, ARI.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees for first year of Master's in a 2-year degree course is about 75k. Although the reservation categories have scholarship and freeships schemes available, thus making their fees about 16k.
Campus Life :
There are multiple campus activities throughout the year. There are various clubs, and councils such as Ruia Student Council that arranges Freshers, Rose Day, Monsoon Sports, Utsav Aarohan, Samanvay, Mehfil-e-mauj. There is Ruia Science Association, Ruia Arts Association, Ruiaite Monthly Magazine Team, Ruia Micro-magazine team, Ruia Microbiology Society, Ruia Green Club and so many fun activities and fests throughout the year.
Faculty :
The faculty members are highly qualified professionals with some having PhD's, UGC NET cleared Assistant Professors. Their methodology towards teaching is based on practical and application based knowledge.
Interview Experience :
There wasn't any GD or Interview for admission, but they have their own entrance exam, for which the syllabus is 11th 12th Science and BSc Microbiology, and they have their entrance exams around June, and the college begins by July-August. The entrances only have basics of everything.

Placement Experience :
After two semesters,you will be eligible for the placements but you should not have any backlog or kt in your exams.Average package offered by the companies are 120000 to 400000. the percentage of students getting placed is 75-90%.
