- A good Coding culture as there are a lot of technical clubs which are completely active. Due to this and Technical Society i.e Techknow we can participate in various Hackathons and all
- Good Cultural clubs like INCOGNITO for dance, music, dramas and also they go to different colleges to perform as a band and to perform nukkad natak , we have NEON cinematics and FIC as fit india club.
- The seniors are also very much supportive and helps you in every situation
- Placements for software and cse is very much good and no barier for any branch so you can go to different fields like software engineering, Data Analyst, Web Developer, App Developer, AI ML Developer
- Grade system is very good, you can easily get 7.5+ which most of the companies need specially with very less amount of studies.
Dislikes
- ECE students can not go to core placements which is a difficult problem.
- ECE teachers are a little bit of strict so you have to focus more on studies as well as coding
- You have to compromise with campus life and city life as campus is currently new and does not have a lot of things even don't have medical shops but still with canteen and waterpark opposite to college is a good sign
- Compromise with food and basic needs like bed table and chair and almirahs
Remarks :
I got some other private colleges like JAYPEE Noida and Thapar, I left them because of high fees then in councelling I got IIIT bhopal ece and IIIT nagpur cse and NIT srinagar ee but I leave them because I was looking for a better options. Some of the colleges I applied and were not able to get wete due to merit as I got 97%ile in JEE Mains 2023 and then I joined IIIT kota. Admission process of our college is first you have to give JEE Mains and get a good percentile. Then fill up the form of Josaa councelling accordingly filling choices according to your choice then you can get the college in josaa or csab rounds. Then by physical reporting you gets this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
IIITs do not have mechanical and civil and it is beneficial for students like us to focus more on IT hub and that's why I chose IIIT over NITs. Curriculum is really very well maintained and made as of compared to better colleges they have AI specialisations and subjects like DBMS software DSA in second semester. So we could understand the basics of DSA AND START competitive programming in starting . Talking about some of the problems in curriculum is in ECE curriculum where we have so much core subjects but no placement options there so we should have some relaxation like we can shift 2 subject to cse or ai if we want. The frequency and timing of exams along with my perspective on their difficulty level is very good as mid terms are in 1.5 months and that's enough time and after 2 months there are end terms the time of end term can be increased.
Internships Opportunities :
At IIIT Kota, students benefit from a robust internship program, facilitated by the college’s strong industry connections. Internships are offered across various reputed companies, providing practical experience and a stipend. Notable companies include **TCS**, **Wipro**, **Bosch**, **Microsoft**, and **Intel**, offering roles ranging from software development and data analysis to systems engineering and research. Interns often work on significant projects such as developing software solutions, analyzing large datasets, and improving existing technologies. For instance, a student might work with TCS on a project involving the development of a new application feature, focusing on coding, testing, and debugging. At Microsoft, interns could be involved in machine learning projects, implementing algorithms and evaluating their performance. The outcomes of these internships are highly valuable. Students gain hands-on experience with real-world problems, enhance their technical skills.
Placement Experience :
From 7th semester starting students become eligible for campus placements. And they can go for Summer internship whenever they want. Companies like MEESHO , FLIPKART, MICROSOFT, ADOVE , some early age startups , OLA , UBER , ZOMATO comes Till now in this year Infosys, MEESHO and one more company came and gave offers more than 25 LPA to 10 students. As a role of business analyst. Highest placement is generally given by Flipkart that of 50+ LPA and average of about 17 LPA and average companies like MEESHO FLIPKART MICROSOFT ADOVE some early age startups. Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees per year goes approximately 3 lakhs per annum and as per scholarship students can apply for any one government scholarships like MMVY for MP students and various state and central scholarships for SC, ST GEN OBC everyone Also students can apply for numbers of private scholarships like Reliance Scholarship. For other categories they get 50% less in tution fees which is about 90,000 per semester Also students Like PWD also gets some sort of scholarships and some financial aid. Most known scholarships are MMVY RELIANCE Some army scholarships And Central Scholarships Also there are scholarships for girls
Campus Life :

The meal quality is average, with a standard menu that covers basic needs but might lack variety. The registration process for the hostel is streamlined and done online; you receive your room allocation upon arrival at the college. For those considering rented accommodation, options are limited due to the village location, making rented rooms or PG accommodations rare. Thus, most students opt for the hostel, where the facilities meet essential needs despite the average food quality. The hostel facilities include modern amenities such as beds, desks, chairs, almirahs, fans, charging ports, lamps, and LAN ports. Meals provided are decent but may not offer much variety. Faculty :
Faculty is comparable less as per students 1:75 approximately, some faculty are very good very helpful and supportive but some are strict, even though they are strict but they are supportive and good as a teacher. Some of the best Faculties are Gyan sir , Praveen sir (Maths) , Ashok sir , Sumi mam and more. They are very much supportive and carefull. We enjoy there company a lot. 100 marks are divided in 3 parts First is Mid Term That is of 30 marks and it is very easy to score and boost your grade second is 30 marks internal based on teacher depends on attendant quiz and somewhere on teacher. Last one is End term of 40 marks with full syllabus somewhere tough to score but if you study well you can easily get AB-BB 9-8 grades in each subject.

curriculum is good you will get many new things to learn many software to learn but at your own the teachers here will not teach you that beacause they also do not know that things exams held twice a semester one is end term and one is mid term

The Dress Codes for male candidates is light coloured shirt & dark coloured trousers and for female candidates is saree.

Placements: Nearly 85% of the students are placed in my course, and the highest package is 52 LPA by Microsoft (Off-campus), with an average package of 7 LPA. Top companies like HPE, Amazon, TCS, Accenture, ZS, etc., visit my college. The college does not provide internships to the students.
