Due to high cutoff in cap rounds I couldn't get the college I wanted , so according to my percentile this was the best college compared to other. There are mainly two exam through which you can take admission ie CET and JEE Main. The admission process is very simple due to online process but its has many concerns such as the verification step is held offline in scrutiny centre which made student difficult to travel
The syllabus structure of this course is very simple and easy. The faculties members have unique teaching method which help to connect the concept to real world problems and applications. But the syllabus is outdated compared to other universities and need to improve it. The exam time for Insem exam is only one hour while for Endsem exam is two and half hour. Most of the subjects are easy to clear but some are very hard which requires great knowledge about of that subject.
The placement cell of our college is great and very well disciplined. They support each and every student and have great one on one interaction. Various top MNCs companies come for recruitment of students such as Infosys, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, Conigzant etc. The highest package achieved by our college student is 40LPA . The average package of our college is 3-4LPA . Around 50-60% students get placed above average package.
The fee for this degree course is less compared to other college . The total fee is 90000 , which is divided into tution fees 78,000/- , development fee 10000/- and university fee 2000/- . As a open category student I get scholarship named EBC which help financially and reduce 50% tution fees and total payable fee for me is 50,052 /- . Various other scholarship are available for other category students such as for OBC student there is post-matric scholarship. And the fee for the SC category student is 190/- only
Overall my experience in campus is very awesome. The students are very interactive. Most of the class are smart class and have well equipped benches. The library of the college consists of various type of books which are helpful for students studying for competitive exam such as MPSC, UPSC and GATE etc. There is annual function held by the organization called NAKSHTRA which is very awesome and exciting. There are various clubs which are managed by students such as GDSC, MLSC and coders club
Most of the faculties are very well educated and have good knowledge about their subjects, but some of the faculties are not well qualified which make students difficult to understand the concepts and core of the subject. Under the SPPU University there are main two exam held ie Insem and Endsem . The Insem consists of 30 marks which is based on first 2 units while the endsem is based on next 4 units. Most of the students clear insem easily but have difficult to clear endsem.
The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is fine. The pattern follwed is of sppu 2019 pattern and in first year all the subjects are same for all the students then in second year all the students get into there specific branches. i jus dont like a thing lik eif i am computer student so why should i do thing which is for mechnical studnets that a thing i hate about the pattern but we can't halp it in real.
From 3rd year our internships get started And from 3rd we get eligible for the placements Companies come for the placements for starting till the end of the semester For 4th year most of the students get placements
Campus placements are average like average package in our college is 3lpa. Many companies visit college. Student are eligible for campus placements from 4th year 1 sem. 93% student are placed in our college. And that is not bad.
The placements here at IIT Bombay are very very good. If a student has really done good or just put some efforts on skill development, he definitely gets placed and in a very good amount. A large number of companies visit for placements like Tata, L&T, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, SONY, Samsung, Mahindra, Reliance, Qualcomm, Bajaj, Jaguar, Loreal, JSW, Hitachi, Mercedes, Havells,P&G, ITC, HUL, ONGC, HP, BYJUS, etc. This year around 1753 offers were made, out of which 1438 were accepted by the students in phase-1. All the information is available on IITB website. The highest package was around INR 4.23 CPA (in quant sector) and an average package of around INR 21.26 LPA. Around 82.1% of students were placed this year. Some students didn't sit for placements because they want to study further in foreign universities, or doing MBA further, or UPSC, etc.
From 6 semester we are eligible to apply for internships then only college placements will start and we have specially programs for placements so there are no lack of placements and there many students who are getting placed so they are at their best
The placements of this college is average the average package is around 4-5 lpa. There are only students get 30-40-50 lpa package which are best in all things If you are brilliant in academics or other things you can get it. Percentage of students to placed is around 70%
There is not much placements in campus nor the top companies visit ther to get placements most of the students have to apply offline but teachers there support us even after we pass out from the college
Curriculum of the university is good. Practical knowledge is also very much. Curriculum is based on real world applications. Frequency of the term exam is in every six months. Teachings qualities is also good
