If you talk about ranking, then I can bet on it it's in the top 3 universities of india, and the engineering research team is well established. I've applied for hbtu kanpur and iet Lucknow and I've participated in jossa where I get admission in pec Chandigarh but I didn't go for them because at the same time I got admission in jamia millia islamia and I've opt it because it's quite renowned and also it's in delhi which is quite near to my home. The engineering ranking also quite better than the others i was getting. I didn't get rejection from any others college's mentioned above but at the same time I've got admission in jamia millia islamia. The admission process of BTech is done through the rank of jee mains, so once we get result of jee then jmi starts their separate counselling for admission in btech and on that basis it release list for admission in which cut-off and all sorts present. The cut-off varies year by year. Sometimes it goes higher and sometimes it closes very soon.
From the very beginning i was dedicated towards technology and all sort, but I need to choose only core branch of engineering. And the civil society of jmi is very well developed even the most of the known alumni of jmi are from jmi. That's why this college inspired me for that. Curriculum is very well designed it includes lab work which is done on the ground itself which gives real insights of this course. But, if you talk about improvements, i think academic should be more focused on the ground level work rather than classes and all sort. The sessionals are done in the interval of 1 months then at last end semester exams.
Their are lot of internship opportunities available in the college but most of them are private you have access them on your own. Aicte (all india council for technical education) it gives internship opportunities and stipend of 15000-20000 for top performer. As far I've no deep knowledge about internship but jmi provide internship in 3rd-4th year.
From 6 or 7th semester students get eligible for campus placement. Their are lot of companies visit campus every year such as TCS, atlassian, algessic india, chegg india, zenon analytics, reliance, precision industries (Dubai) and some public sector companies as well and lot more. Their are lot of offers made such as in last year a company named atlassian gives a higest package of 59.91 lpa to a cse student and average package is around 6 lpa.so overall placement is decent and varies year by year. As university doesn't provide the percentage placement list but this year, I've heard that 13% was ece placement, and the civil and electrical placement was very decent compare to others. My plans after degree is for higher studies from abroad or IIT'S .
The tution fee per year is very nominal, it's around 16000 per year which is kindly affordable for individual. The fees for first year is ?16375 while for further years it will drop down to ?13000 for a year and it includes all the other charges like lab fees, library fees, caution fees etc. While talking about scholarship, jmi is flexible for scholarship as well in first year there are lot scholarship opportunities comes every year like some government scholarship opportunities, some private scholarship as well.. In second year jamia also provide scholarship but the condition is that the grades should be perfect and attendence also good. Overall the fees is affordable.
Well, Jamia is inactive in terms of fests and societies. But recently, an event was organised which was very well named Zephyr and crescenta. Where lot's of activities like, club dancing, concerts, gully cricket, chess, inter tournament, sports activities and lot more happened. The library of jamia is very well designed and you can say one of the best library where you access all the books and generals you can find mostly all books there. For the first year there is no ac classes available and in terms of facilities there is nothing for first year but from the 2nd year onwards the class are Fully furnished and ac rooms there. University have separate sports complex where you can play table tennis, badminton, football, cricket and many more. But their is separate dress code for it. Jamia students are very inactive in clubs, social groups etc but recently university started a subject named design thinking lab which forced student to think beyond.
Faculties of jamia are quite strict from the 2nd year, the academics is quite tough because faculty expect too much hardwork from you. They give lots of assignments, regular classes, attentive in labs etc. Overall, faculty is very well experienced but some of them are very strict. But the first year faculty is too much supportive and friendly also. Fahim sir from first year (physics faculty) shahid sir(chemistry faculty) are some of very good faculty. But from 2nd year most faculties are very rude and strict regarding academics. But overall, they work hard with you. So talking about exams, for each semester, you have two sessions (15 marks each) and end semester exam (45 marks) . The level of exam is bit tougher. I've data of previous year students data out 70 students 35 were passed in a subject. So the level is bit higher. But if you are attentive to class then you can easily ace it.

The relevance of my course in present scenario is awesome. The it industry demands engineer in their company. But if you will rely on college studies then you will not be able to compete others . So try to explore new things yourself
We have a fixed curriculum for studies which are similar to IITs. And grading system in Jawaharlal Nehru University is relative and CGPA is based on grade which is given out of 9. Labs are still developing.
I THINK PLACE IS NOT THAT BECAUSE THIS IS ONLY 14 YEARS OLD SO THEY PROVIDING DECENT PLACEMENT AS THE HIGHEST PACKAGE OF 2022 IS 82.7LPA AND IN 2023 IS 87 LPA . AND THE EVERAGE PAKAGE OF CSE IS 16 LPA AND FOR EE IS 18PLA SO I DONT THINK IT IS THAT BUT IF YOU ARE IN BTECH. IF DIDNT GET PLACE MENT MAY BE I WILL TRY OF CAMPUS OR GATE EXAM OR MAYBE UPSE OR PCS FOR GOVT JOB.
The curriculum of Jawaharlal Nehru University for Bachelor of Technology is the same as another technical university (IIT's, NIT's, IIT's, other GFTIs). Here we have a computer and electronics lab that pays a crucial rule for one's college. The syllabus was decent and up to the mark.
the course curriculum is quite good. they cover all aspects of computer science. this covers all imp topics needed for placement . teaching methods are not that good as some faculty are not good at all. there are two exams each sem, i.e. mid sem and end sem with a 1.5-month gap. difficulty of the exam is not that hard.
Good campus placements suggest strong employability. If none, focus on internships, job portals, networking, and possibly further studies to enhance job prospects. Placement Statistics: Percentage of students placed, average and highest salary packages, and types of companies hiring.
