I basically applied this college through counselling i was satisfied as it is located near me around 12 km of distance so travel should not be something which disturbs education. I didnt apply to any college i was just waiting for my counselling result and i got my admission in SRMVEC as i was super happy. Exams like Jee , 12th cutoff around 150/200 is enough to join . As admission costs are increasing i am so lucky to not have any sirt of admission fee to join in . That saved a lot of money. Where as in other colleges just the admission fee totals up the sum of my degree fee. For example Colleges like SSN , CIT , REC , SNU
The main aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this field is modern development in automation that kindled my interest in this course . Curriculum talks about awareness development growth aspects according to the subjects. Areas of improvements are there could more of a visual test and challenge students with complex ideas.
The year wise fees i am paying is around 80k and for 4yrs it will be about 3.2 lakhs including tuition , caution , registration , admission , development fees etc only if you are from the category counselling. If you are from management you will be paying around 5lakhs total including admission. For SC/ST the fees structure goes around 55k. The scholarships for SC/ST , BC , MBC are applicable and we can apply form and submit it to management . And financial aids like project funds , IV funds , achievements reward are awarded to students every year.
Being a college student has been an amazing experience for me, especially when it comes to campus life. The social aspect is really vibrant—there's always something happening, whether it's hanging out with friends between classes, joining in on events, or just chilling in the common areas. The clubs are a huge part of the experience too. I joined a couple of them, and it's been a great way to meet new people who share similar interests. Plus, the infrastructure is pretty solid—modern classrooms, a well-stocked library, and plenty of spaces to study or just relax. Overall, college life is a good balance of academics and fun. And talking about events and symposiums every weekend there would some sort of events conducted by management and team for boosting for social interactions and also having healthy relationships. Our college mainly focuses on sports and extra curricular activities like Ncc Nss Nso etc.. As sports quota students are present about 30% in college it involves sport tour
If we talk about faculties , they are too friendly according to my department mechanical , staffs are so kind and helping they support you through process you are willingly desired to be they provide help to the utmost level be it placement, be it studying for competitive exams. Be it certification courses conducted my IITs Nptel . Cats exams are pretty like normal . But when it comes to semester exams the level of toughness depends upon external and internal question paper .
