Over all My Experience
Likes
- Well overall good campus and good vibe for students
- good staffs and helps us learn and teach new subjects
- the canteen inside the campus is very nice
- there is good accesability for transportaion since the bus stop in near itself the campus
Dislikes
- some times the staffs would get tensed for not been performing
- the campus and the department are much more strict than other college
- the students does not get full freedom as compared to other college
- i like the campus but some times students from other place might not like
Remarks :
In TamilNadu the college is based on the marks we score in class 12 which is often known as cutoff marks here . THis is based on 200 marks. with my cuttof i though the best college i would get is Karpagam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course is an old engineering program but any way the program and paticularly this course as all time market and trend. The main reason for me for opting this course is be4caause i wanted to learn someting more solid engineering and i love the subject in my following years
Placement Experience :
Yes there are great companies that come for the placements inside the campus . Though the placements are good i went to try and luckily i got placed in microsoft and then shifted to an other company through recommentation
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Same like many institutions ,the fees inclde from tution fees which covers the main cost and it is refundable amount. there are many other compalsary charges such as exam fees and extracuriculam activities . For scolarship the Karpagam college provides many other merit based fund and also the provide many scholarships based on our caste
Campus Life :
I always love sports and then I in the first year itself went for playying after the college Hours . I love the campus and the canteen inside the campus and some times talk with friends walking around the nature
Faculty :
well there is totally 8 semesters in which there would be atleast 4 to 6 papers depending on deparments . Since i learned mechanics i had papers in subjects like drawings, English, Mathematics, Physics,Chemistry and there is an added advantage of learning of opting a foreign language

Faculty :
The course curriculum is well-structured and covers both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It is regularly updated to align with current industry requirements, although adding more hands-on projects and industry exposure would make it even more relevant
An honest feedback of a second year student
Placement Experience :
The students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year in the month of October. For chemical engineering, Asian paints, PETRONAS are some companies I remember. Last year 12companies visited and 20offers were made. Highest package: 12LPA and Average package: 6LPA. Students with no standing arrears are mandatory for placements and some companies want candidates with no history of arrears. Percentage of students getting placed is around 15%. I currently do not have any plans
My Pov of GCT
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placement from the end of 6th semester. Reputed companies like Walmart, D E Shaw, ZoHo and many other companies provide many offers. Most of the students will get placed in companies. My plan is to pursue higher studies.
