I applied to PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), and Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET). I got confirmed admissions from SKCET and Hindusthan Institute of Technology (HITECH). **Choosing HITECH:** HITECH’s strong placement cell, modern infrastructure, and proximity to home influenced my choice. The campus offered better lab facilities and a more active placement cell compared to SKCET, which aligned with my career goals. **Rejections:** I didn't secure admissions at PSG and CIT due to not meeting their higher cutoff marks in the entrance exams. My TNEA rank wasn't competitive enough for these top-tier institutions. **Admission Process at HITECH:** HITECH’s admission process requires a minimum of 50% in 12th-grade science subjects. From the 5th semester the students are eligible for placement training. The students can also try off campus placements even in their 2 nd year. There are many companies visiting our college.some of them are cognizant, Zoho , Infosys and so on. The average package is 6.5 lakhs per annum and highest package is 33 to 35 lakhs per annum. My plan after degree is to place in a reputed company.
